La Tour de la Fondule
Tour de la Fondude - XIVème
This watch tower is part of the medieval fortifications. It was named the "Esperon" or the "Fondude". It used to serve as  jail house under supervision of the county judge. Its cells had the reputation of true oubliettes with iron rings sealed in the walls.
Today, this Tower is private property and access is thus restricted. It has, however, been restored in line with its original style.
