Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA, and St. Paul-de-Vence, France, are today taking the first steps in inaugurating the St. Paul Web Boutique. This will be an exciting technological venture for the two cities.

|
At 1:30 p.m., Central Daylight Time the two cities' representatives made a videoteleconferencing hook-up and exchanged greetings. Saint Paul's Mayor Norm Coleman and Rene Buron, Mayor of St. Paul-de-Vence, also exchanged written greetings.

|
It's hoped that in the near future, as many as possible of the many cities in the world named "St. Paul" can be connected via the web and other ways.

|
Saint Paul, Minnesota, is in the north central 'heartland' of the United States, and is a center of banking and agricultural business. It is a 'twin' to its adjacent city, Minneapolis.

|
|
St. Paul-de-Vence is a beautiful medieval fortified village perched between two valley. It's an important center of art and culture, and it's only a few kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea.
